Hi,
Please ensure that the images you are uploading are in JPEG format and less than 1MB in file size. That should resolve the problem for you.

All the best,

Mike

Could you help me too. I too have tried several attempts to upload my picture for the low light competition and failing to see it upload.

The file size is 3.63 mb. If the file is too big, how do I make it small enough to upload?

Many thanks.

Hi cmevans,

Image files should be under a megabyte in size and be of jpeg file format. To reduce the size, open it in an image editing program such as photoshop and reduce the pixel size of the image, then save the copy and upload it.

Hi Cheryl. welcome to Olympus user they do have some problems with this site I have posted photos on the gallery but unable to enlarge them.
I suggest this program for resizing http://www.irfanview.net/ it is free
you you have open up file and find your photo and use the tool bar to find resizing there are a lot of tweaks for p/p as a bonus hope this helps.Regards John.

Hi Mike
I have tried several times to upload to my new, as yet unused, gallery with no success. My image is under 1 mb and in jpeg format. Any further ideas?

Hi peter,

There can sometimes be issues when the filename contains special characters, but you should get a message about it. If the filename of the file has non-alphanumeric characters in it, try renaming it. If you're still having problems uploading, post back and I'll see if I can find out whats gone wrong for you.

All the best,

Mike

Hi Mike
Thanks. I checked and I was still trying to upload an image greater than 1mb. When I found my resized image at 0.9 it all went well and I have uploaded and entered the competition.
Thanks

Thank you so much for all your help, not quite sure how I managed it, but I did. I have uploaded my first photo after editing it in photoshop.

I am new to dslr and still getting to grips with my E420. I look forward to learning more.
